Wasiq F. Rawasia, MD specializes in cardiovascular medicine with expertise in interventional cardiovascular medicine. Dr. Rawasia is also skilled in cardiac critical care, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) including high-risk complex PCI, structural heart interventions, and peripheral vascular interventions.

Dr. Rawasia is board certified by The American Board of Internal Medicine and The American Board of Internal Medicine - Cardiovascular Medicine. He is also a diplomate of The National Board of Echocardiography and The American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. In addition he is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation.

A native of Pakistan, he completed his medical degree at The Aga Khan University Medical College, Pakistan. Dr. Rawasia began his post-graduate educational and training experience in the United Sates in 2012 at the University of Louisville - School of Medicine completing an internal medicine residency and then subsequently a cardiovascular medicine fellowship, during which time he also served in the capacity of Chief Fellow - Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship Program. Dr. Rawasia then completed an interventional cardiovascular medicine fellowship at West Virginia University- Heart and Vascular Institute.
